A long view to the Garden’s end.

Works to Kings drive involved the demolition of existing rear extension and creation of a new, full-width rear extension to a semi-detached home in Redland, Bristol. 

The new accommodation created a split level kitchen, dining living space along with new utility and WC. An extended ‘pop-up’ window clad in zinc and arranged on axis with the door from which one enters the space from the entrance hall draws one’s eye right down to the end of the garden immediately upon entering the space. 

Wide single pane roof windows draw light deep into the plan and, along with the extensive low level glazed doors and windows, create a dramatic connection with the sky, garden and cityscape beyond upon entering.
